If you value fun over practicality, you are the target market for this Sinclair C5 on eBay.
They don’t come up often, presumably because there aren’t too many still around. Surprising really, as this was the future in the mid-1980s. But practical concerns (like a limited range for example) led to just 5,000 being sold before the company went into receivership.
But these days the C5 is the ultimate 1980s cult classic. Still pretty useless for getting to work, but likely to be loads of fun for a weekend you.
This one on eBay is ‘fully working’ and is sold with a 12v battery and its original brochures. It looks like the seller wants a quick sale too, so you might get it cheaper than the £895 ‘Buy It Now’ price if you fancy a cheeky bid.
