Whether it is for admiring yourself or interior design, we all love a mirror. If midcentury modern mirrors are on your shopping list, check out five of our favourites right now.
Principe Mirror with oak frame at La Redoute (pictured above)
The irregular shape is a classic midcentury trait and that’s certainly what you get with this one.
Available at La Redoute, it has a light oak frame, the curved shape and the option to hang it in four different positions. £140 is the price, but with La Redoute’s current offer, you can get £35 off this right now. See the retailer’s page for the code.

Gold sunburst mirror at Maisons Du Monde
Affordability is perhaps the key selling point here.
Yes, the sunburst look is typical midcentury and that’s a selling point too. But when you consider that this one is just £14.39, you have to say that’s great value, especially compared to something like the La Redoute sunburst design. Although do check the dimensions as it isn’t the biggest mirror out there.

Mid-Century Asymmetrical Wall Mirror at West Elm
Yes, the irregular shape is back. But with a different finish than the La Redoute offering.
This one has a solid acacia wood frame in an acorn finish and quite a substantial presence too, coming in at 99cm x 127cm. Hangs horizontally and vertically as well, if you want to vary things up. Pricey though at £349.
Nogu Eye-Shaped Vintage Rattan Mirror at La Redoute
Another from La Redoute and one to split the audience.
Essentially it depends if you like the idea of rattan in your home. If you do, the ‘eye’ design is definitely an attention grabber, but the finish isn’t going to be for everyone. £179 is the price of this one.

John Lewis Irregular Oval Mirror in brass
Brass seems to be the design finish of choice right now and John Lewis is definitely getting in on the act.
Irregular, but only a little. This one is just a step away from the traditional, but a good looking piece nonetheless. Apparently you can hang it in a landscape position too, although the customer comments do throw in some doubt on that point. £95 for this one.

Two other options that just missed the cut are the designer Giolino Wall Mirror by Porada, which sells for a hefty £1,200 and the West Elm entryway mirror, which you can get via John Lewis.
If none appeal, we have featured plenty of other mirrors on the site in the past.
