I’m not usually the kind of person who shops for interior design at the local supermarket, but they do occasionally have interesting and affordable prices. Like the Ramona sofas by George at Asda.
Yes, Asda. Although I don’t think you will have much joy in your local store finding one. Unless George at Asda has a standalone store somewhere. Personally I’ve never heard of one.
But there is a website and it offers the Ramona sofa in a variety of colours. Well, five anyway.
I presume they are aimed at two groups. People who want a sofa but don’t want to pay a fortune (which, let’s face it, is most of us). But also its compact shape / size gives this design appeal to apartments or indeed anywhere that might be lacking in space.
But it still has the look, which is a fairly boxy, midcentury modern look with buttoned back, tapered legs and if you want it, a bright colour. If you don’t, that’s fine, there are dark colours available for this one too.
If you want it quick, most colours are available in seven days too, which is a bonus if you don’t like the idea of waiting months for something from a typical sofa retailer.
That price? Just £149 for whatever colour you choose.
