I don’t want to speak too soon, but I suspect spring has finally sprung and it’s to think outdoors. If you want some new seating, do check out the Copacabana 1950s-style outdoor seating at Maisons Du Monde.
This isn’t a new concept. Far from it. The design here is traditionally known as the Acapulco and we have featured a similar design from John Lewis in the past. But at Maisons Du Monde, the chair isn’t here singularly. It’s part of a range.
That range includes a variety of colours for the chair itself, as you can see from the image above. So guaranteed to be one that fits your taste or colour scheme (if your garden conservatory has a colour scheme of course). But there’s more.
Unusually, you can also get a two-seater or a garden sofa in the same design and again, in a choice of colour. That’s something you don’t see often and as you can see, it really works too. Actually, there’s a sun bed / recliner too, but that’s not really in keeping with the other pieces, so I’m passing past that one swiftly.
Oh and you can get some matching retro metal tables too, as featured in the second image down. Yes, you can recreate some sort of midcentury living space outside. That’s why I’m so keen on this whole range.
Do check out the retailer’s site to see all those colours and variations up-close. If any catch your eye, then you’ll want to know the price. A chair sells for £75.24 and the sofa variations sell for £209. If the metal tables appeal, they sell for a further £110 for a pair in a variety of shades.
