I think we might have briefly mentioned a couple of examples from this range in the past, but it’s perhaps worth flagging up the full Freda homeware range at Habitat, as it is rather wonderful and colourful.
It’s a very stylish range that could easily pass for something vintage from the middle of the 20th century. I’m thinking something hip and Scandinavian. In fact, if I saw this range in a vintage store in that part of the world, I think I would probably believe it was a range from the 1950s or 1960s. Someone in the design department at Habitat has a very keen eye.
But as you know this is a recent range of homewares and textiles with a retro vibe and patterns inspired by nature. It’s also quite an extensive range too and one that has gradually grown over time. At present, that range includes those wonderful storage jars and spice jars, along with trays, mugs, an oven glove and tea towel, all of which co-ordinate rather nicely without being identical.
As for price, not too expensive, with storage jars starting from £10 and other items from £5. In fact, the leaf mug has just dropped into the sale.
