Love the colours for this particular reissue. I’m talking about the new take on the Adidas Bermuda trainers in collegiate green.
Are these Australia colours? That’s what I thought when I first saw this shoe, but that’s not mentioned anywhere. So collegiate green and yellow it is.
As you probably know by now, considering this style has been available for a few years now, the Bermuda trainers have been around (on and off) since the 1970s. They were originally part of the Island series, which included shoes such as the Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Samoa, Hawaii and Tahiti. Some of those have been reissued in recent years so if you want to know more, do a search of the site archive.
But of you want these, read on as the Bermuda trainers in collegiate green are just on the shelves. For your money, you get a suede upper, synthetic lining, three-stripe branding (of course), a Trefoil logo to the heel and a ‘treaded’ rubber sole unit.
So in effect, nothing has really changed apart from the finish. If the new colour option works for you, it is available now, retailing for £75.
