I did a round-up of retro sunglasses at Topshop recently, but there are obvious more options at other retailers. Like these 1970s-style oversized sunglasses at Mango.
I’m picking them out because so many of the retro sunglasses on the market right now tend to be inspired by the 1950s and 1960s. Getting something with a hint of a later era isn’t quite so easy. But it is possible.
The ones here are available online or in a Mango store, with the oversizes frames and slim frame looking just the part if you want to look like a 1970s jet setter.
The frame is mainly copper, with graduated lenses offering 100 per cent UV protection. Love that purple tint too, which adds to its vintage charm.
