Just spotted a range of discounted midcentury modern furniture by Mod Design, which is well worth a look.
I know absolutely nothing about the company. I know, it’s not very good research, but at least I’m being honest.
I just spotted it on both the UK and European versions of Monoqi, a site that specialises in offering a range of design for discounted prices for a limited period of time.
From what the retailer says, the label goes for ‘tidy design, restrained colouring, and timeless forms’, but what it doesn’t say, perhaps because it doesn’t really need saying, is that most of the pieces are pure midcentury modern. Not overly-stylised, but with all the right details in the right places.
The company also offers quite a wide range too. So if you are kitting out a house or room with some midcentury inspiration, this is a collection that could fulfil some if not all of your requirements.
So variations of a bedside table, TV unit, console table, sideboard, shelving, table, drawers, shelving, even a wardrobe. What I would add is that there are more pieces on the European site compared to the UK one, so check out both if you want the full picture.
I’ve picked out a few pieces here, including the Oseyo console at the top of the page (down from £478 to £190), the Prava sideboard (down from £788 to £313), the Glasgow TV unit (down from £397 to £161), the Indira sideboard (down from €977 to €389) and the 2-Piece Potenza shelving unit, down from €593 to €239.
If you want to see everything, check out the UK Monoqi website or the European Monoqi website. You have around three days before the deal disappears.
