Check out this this rather lovely 1950s-style Yucca furniture range, which site proudly in the current range at Maisons Du Monde.
Yes, it is new. I’m guessing you say it and thought it might be a vintage or eBay find. Not so. This is a brand new range that might well have been pulled out of a high end midcentury modern property of the 1950s. It definitely has the kind of authentic look buyers love. I certainly have a lot of love it and I suspect you might like the idea of some, if not all of it in your home, regardless of it being a house from the mid-20th century or not.
All the pieces in the range have a consistent look, which is perhaps down to the lovely acacia wood finish, as well as the tapered legs and when it comes to the shelving, the String-like shelves. So if you are looking for a complete range for an entire room or apartment, this is well worth checking out. Ranges of this depth are more common these days, but still an exception rather than the rule.
As for those individual pieces, you can pick up two different types of shelving unit, two different sizes of sideboard, a dressing table, a TV unit (or media unit if you prefer) and finally, an entryway bench if you still have a telephone in youer hallway. I still do.
Prices vary of course, but start at £439, moving up to £1,369.
