A more obscure reissue, with the Puma Blue Star and Red Star trainers back on the shelves for the first time in a few years.
Actually it is over five years since this style was last reissued and even it wasn’t quite a straight reissue. So great to see Puma bringing back this 1980s she exactly as it was back in the day.
A popular shoe in some circles too. Generally described as a ’terrace classic’, this a wonderful all-rounder with its appeal being very much in its simplicity.
As you have probably worked out, the individual names relate to the colours of the suede upper, with the Blue Star and Red Star also featuring leather detailing, gold foil branding, a classic ’T-Toe’ and finished with a gum sole.
Not an easy one to find and in a way, that only adds to its appeal. But you can pick them up from Hanon, which has both colours in most sizes for £75.
