This year it has been all about the Trimm Star. But right now it’s all about the 1970s Adidas Trimm Master trainers.
Yes, hot on the heels of a series of reissues of the classic Trimm Star comes a rarely-seen variation on the theme.
The Trimm shoe was part of a German government initiative to get people excising in the early 1970s. A functional and casual all-round training shoe that’s perhaps best known in the Trimm Star incarnation.
But the Trimm Master was also part of the range and for rarity value alone this one should fly off the shelves. It returns as a Size? exclusive in its only original colourway of ‘vibrant’ green matched with yellow leather for the detailing and the three stripes.
The shoe is finished with a dark brown gum midsole unit and of course, the gold foil ‘Trimm Master’ branding.
A shoe that stands out of many reasons and one that you will need to get up early for when it laksa on Friday 16th November. Expect to pay £85 if you get a pair or much more on eBay if you don’t.
