These haven’t been around for quite a while now, so it is good to see the Adidas Gazelle Indoor trainers back on the shelves.
In fact, it was way back in 2016 when this style was last spotted on the shelves. So quite a lengthy break, which makes the return all the more pleasurable.
If you recall, the Gazelle Indoor was and is a 1970s variation of the 1960s classic and one that was reissued a few years back in both suede and leather finishes. This time it’s a suede reissue.
Specifically, we are looking at blue suede with leather details, the latter in a turquoise. If you are wondering about the finish, that has been subject to a ‘vintage’ treatment, presumably to give the impression that you’ve conjured up some 1970s deadstock rather than picking them up online in 2019.
The full details are a suede upper in navy, turquoise leather for the stripes and heel, a dimpled tongue, a T-toe overlay and the gum sole. That last detail is a trademark of the shoe, with a transparent finish riding up the side of the shoe a little.
If you want a pair, the Adidas Gazelle Indoor trainers are available now for £75.
