Something versatile and midcentury in the form of this Lars Scandinavian-inspired sofa bed at Made.
I know, this does look like a vintage Danish design, which I presume is the point/selling point.
The minimal wood frame is the key selling point here, very much of the midcentury era and particularly Danish interior design from the mid-20th century. In this case, it is oak with some lovely subtle curving and of course, an angled leg.
That’s matched up with upholstery in a choice of two colours and with no button or seam detailing in keeping with the minimalist theme. Chunky though, which should mean plenty of comfort.
But best of all, this really doesn’t look like a sofa bed. It looks like a large, three-seater vintage sofa and as such, would work as the main sofa in your living room when you don’t have visitors staying over. When you do, surprise them with a couple of ‘clicks’ to reveal their sleeping arrangements for the night.
Take your pick between the blue and the grey, both of which are available now, but they are down to limited stock. £699 is the price of either colour.
