Fancy a trip back to the 1980s? You might want one of these limited edition Fred Perry M12 polo shirts in 1985 shades.
This isn’t a new thing for Fred Perry. Last year it offered polo shirts in 1994 colours for a bit of a Britpop vibe. This year it has gone back a little further, to a time when this kind of polo was big news on the casual scene.
If you want one, you have only a limited number of outlets and presumably, a limited amount of time. Basically, if you want one of these designs, you need to go to the Fred Perry site or one of the bigger standalone Fred Perry stores. On the plus side, all are available to buy now.
Whether you want one is probably dependent on your love of that period of time or your appreciation of the pastel colours produced at the time. Oh, your need for a Fred Perry polo too.
The colours are described as lilac, pale blue, ice lemon and pale pink and all of them are pictured here in their pastel glory. As for the shirt, that’s a cotton pique polo shirt with twin-tipped collar and cuffs, two-button placket, a flat hem and the Fred Perry Laurel Wreath logo on the chest.
This mini range of shirts is made in England and with all sizes available. prices well up on 1985 though, with each available for £80 each.
