I have featured the label once before, but not this Inaluxe retro abstract artwork at John Lewis.
In fact, you might recall that last occasion, as it was a popular outing. The Inaluxe midcentury modern rugs, which have similar bold designs to these prints, but for use on the floor rather than the wall. Although you could hang a rug on your wall, I have seen that happen in the past. But the floor is the more common place and those rugs are well worth checking out.
As is the artwork here, which is courtesy of an illustration and design studio operating out of Australia. Back in January, I featured one of the most popular finds of the year, the Deltanova retro-style prints at Etsy, which were made and designed by the same man who did the artwork for the Mad Men TV series. Again, check those out, but these are also worth a look as there are similarities.
Both offer retro and abstract art for your walls without breaking the bank paying out for period originals. The ones here offer more of a midcentury modern vibe than the Deltanova prints, which tend to have a longer range, pushing into the 1970s.
Some are sold just as framed prints, but others are offered as canvases. And note that the frames on offer vary from black to ash and for the canvas prints you can opt for different sizes too. But if you go framed, you tend to be looking at 70cm x 50cm in size.
Anyway, I have picked some out here to give you an idea of the range and if you want them, they are all available from John Lewis right now.
