Not seen this one for a few years, so good to see Adidas Country OG trainers return to the shelves.
It’s a shoe with quite a long heritage too. The Adidas Country first appeared way back in 1970. As you might have guessed, it was designed as a running shoe and specifically, a lightweight running shoe for cross country running.
Times have changed though and if you want to do a spot of cross country running I’m sure there are technically better shoes for doing it in almost 50 years on. But I would guess that few look as good as this one. Which is perhaps why the shoe still has appeal to a wider market all those years on.
Two different colour options are now on the shelves, both of which are pictured here. Go for the classic (at least for me) white with collegiate green detailing or opt for the collegiate navy finish with white detailing.
Both have a fabric and leather upper, a T-toe overlay, serrated 3-Stripes and a classic gum rubber outsole.
£64.95 is the price in either colour.
