A much-loved vintage sports shoe returns tonight. The Adidas Oslo City Series trainers, which were first seen back in the 1970s.
But be warned, the Oslo is likely to be a sports shoe in demand and as such, demand is likely tho outstrip supply. So if you want a pair of these, make sure you stay up late tonight to secure a pair to land on your doorstep in the week.
As for the Oslo, this is one of the most popular of all the City Series designs, which is why this reissue, the first for a number of years, is likely to be hugely popular.
You might well know that the European City Series was a range of Adidas trainers released through the 1970s and the early 1980s, with designs representing key cities throughout Europe. 24 were issues in total, each with its own unique colour.
When it comes to the Oslo, we are talking black and yellow, with this reissued described as a ‘like-for-like’ reissue of the original. Expect a leather upper, serrated leather 3-Stripes on the side, a bright yellow heel tab, a gum rubber outsole and a ridged tongue finishing things off. All of that can be seen in the pictures above and below.
If you are quick, you can pick up a pair in any size on the Hip Store website right now for £85.
