Something a little different in the Topshop range right now, This rather fetching 1960s-style vinyl car coat.
Saying that Topshop does have a track record of throwing in the occasional retro gem. I remember how popular the retro vinyl trench coat and an earlier double-breasted vinyl coat were when I featured them on the site. So flagging this one up is a no-brainer.
A very different design to the previous two, but still a coat inspired by the 1960s and possibly pushing into the early 1970s too. You get the idea – a coat that could pass for something vintage from that era. But also a good-looking and practical thing regardless.
In olive green, this is made of 100% polyurethane (that will machine wash) and has some lovely detailing too. That includes the button front with two-tone buttons, along with the deep pockets to the side, the chest pocket and some button detailing on the cliff. Like that contrasting stitching in white too.
Perfect for the time of year with the occasional shower not uncommon, this retro piece is available in various sizes for £59 right now.
