Summer isn’t here yet, but the vintage Levi’s denim jacket in white is if you want to plan your wardrobe early.
You might have to as well. This particular jacket has a habit of appearing and selling out well before the temperatures rise. Consider this a gentle reminder if one is on your ‘wants’ list.
Why would you want one? Because this is a timeless design, a jacket that barely dates and in the white finish a jacket that stands out from the crowd if you can manage to keep it clean. That’s always the downside of anything white. But if you are careful it should see you through for many years. Denim jackets have a habit of ageing gracefully.
The current model is now described as the ‘vintage fit trucker’, but this is still a jacket based on and inspired by the classic 1967 Type III trucker jacket. The only obvious difference I can see is the fit, with this one said to be a little shorter. That’s about it.
All the details are as you would expect. The white finish naturally, as well as two chest pockets, two lower handwarmer pockets, waist cinch buttons at the rear, button cuffs and the Levi’s tab in red finishing things off, along with the inner Levi’s patch.
Sizes are from small through to XXL and the price right now is £90, although if you buy today the retailer has a 20 per cent off deal. But it does end today, so don’t leave it if you want the money off.
