It’s a growing range, but the Wapong midcentury modern furniture at La Redoute is also a good-looking collection too.
It has a common look and common functionality, which is great if you want to kit out the room and of course, you love the look it is transmitting for either your living room or home office, the spaces it is aimed at.
The lovely grain of the wood and the tapered legs show off its midcentury modern inspiration, but the sliding doors/covers are the big selling point here. They look good when closed, but roll up to show off the storage and/or functionality within. Practical pieces, not just a pretty face or two.
Take your pick from a tall cabinet, a smaller cabinet, a concertina desk, a mini cabinet that is pitched as a potential bedside unit (but could work as a side table) and finally, the TV stand. As I said, a growing range that will likely be added to as the year progresses.
The desk seems like a great option for occasional work of letter writing, while the rest of the range offers differing amounts of storage and much with a fairly small footprint too, should space be at a premium.
As for price, anything from £275 to £699, although with La Redoute, there’s always a deal on. As I write, that deal is 20 per cent off with a code you will see when you visit the site.
