A rework of a classic design, the Yuri retro target garden lounge chair at Made has just dropped into the sale.
It’s part of a wider Yuri range, which offers three coloured versions of the chair, along with a garden bench with is pretty much the same, but with more seating space. All worth a look if you like the idea of the range, but the one here is the design that really jumps out at me. Perhaps you too.
The ‘target’ design is the reason I like this one. OK, not the classic target design of red, white and blue. That would be a little too much to hope for (although if Made is reading this, perhaps something to consider if the range is ever expanded).
This particular target is in blue, white and mustard, which works well as a colour combination.
Of course, the design itself is an eye-catcher too if you like the idea of some 1960s-style garden design, with those slim, angled metal legs and the peacock-style shape of the seat. A tight, intricate weave too, which should wipe down easily enough to keep in good order.
The original price was £199, but with the sale at Made now on, you can get it for a much cheaper £159. With the weather set fine right now and the prospect of being in the garden a lot very high (no need to explain that one), it’s probably a great time to buy one of these too.
