I have featured some pricey solutions, so to balance it out, something more affordable. These budget retro turntable stands at Wayfair.
Stands in the plural because there are different finishes and different sizes to choose from. Even better, most are in the sale right now, so you can get them even cheaper.
Granted these are not up there with some of the designs I featured in my top 20 retro record and vinyl storage units round-up or the much-loved Ronda cabinet at La Redoute. But it has the functionality, a retro look and a price tag that should work for most people.
The design is consistent across all finishes, with two drawers, rook for your 12-inch vinyl lower down and metal hairpin legs for support. Space on top for your record player or anything else you want to put there too.
If you want less of a footprint, there’s a unit half the size and around half the price too. Ideal for a compact room or if you don’t have as much vinyl. All you need to do choose your finish.
I’m not sure of the capacity, but the unit is said to be able to hold up to 27kg, so maybe you can work it out from that? Or just look at the slots and make an educated guess? Minimum 80 albums? That’s just a hunch if each slot holds 10 (it might not), but you can make up your own mind.
As for the price, you are looking at from £99.99 for the larger units, with the smaller one from £62.99.
