Icons from 007’s wardrobe are brought back to life with these James Bond clothing classics by Orlebar Brown.
Let’s get one thing clear. Orlebar Brown is a premium brand and as such, prices aren’t cheap for these designs. But it is an interesting capsule collection and if you are a fan of Bond, particularly of the classic era of the 1960s and 1970s, you might get excited by these.
It’s actually a follow-up collection after the maker dipped its toe in the water with a few pieces in the fairly recent past. You might recall the 007 Safari Jacket from 2019, for example. That one sold out almost immediately, but most of this collection is available to buy.
There are over 20 designs in the current collection, as well as some themed swim shorts based on the artwork for vintage Bond movies. All co-branded with the maker and 007, but subtle branding that isn’t readily noticed. No bad thing,
With so many designs in the collection, I can’t feature all of them. Instead, I’ll just pick out a few of my favourites to give you an idea of what is here.
A good place to start is the first movie and a Dr No towelling polo shirt in plum, although other shades are available. That sells for £165. The Thunderball Capri collar linen shirt is £195, the Moonraker merino knitted half-zip top is £295, the Thunderbolt Capri collar striped shirt is £195 and the OHMSS linen jacket is £345. Note that the matching trousers to the jacket are also available.
For these and the rest of the range, do check out the Orlebar Brown 007 website.
