This is all about wanting something looking like a 1990s console under your TV. Ok, you might like the sleek, modern look of an Apple TV unit and its mini remote. After all, it is fairly minimal and as such, isn’t the most offensive of gadgets. I quite like it, if I’m honest.
But if you don’t and you prefer people to think you have something old school under your TV, then this might be for you. There is another benefit too.
That layer of silicone which wraps around your Apple TV helps protect it and keep it free of any dust and dirt too. So when you want to part with it, the Apple TV might well look like new.
Of course, you might think it is completely useless and decide to keep with the original look. After all, this is a mini retro console that doesn’t play retro Nintendo games. I wouldn’t blame you if that’s what you decide. This is just a bit of fun.
