The range actually includes more mug designs and more Quant pieces, but the retro Mary Quant Mug by Jane Foster is the focal point for me.
Perhaps it’s just because it’s my favourite design from an illustrator I have championed on this site. Have a look at Jane’s site, there’s something for pretty much everyone from young children upwards, all with a distinctive retro slant.
Like this mug for example. Part of a wider range featuring inspirational women and particularly women who have had an influence on Jane over the years, this mug features the iconic 1960s designer in her heyday and on a mug produced in association with Make International.
Each mug is dishwasher and microwave safe and comes with its own tag. There are four mugs in this new collection if you want to collect them (you can see them above and below). But this is my personal favourite.
If you like the idea of the design but don’t need a mug, then don’t despair. You can also get this design as a print as well as an art doll – which you can see at the bottom of the page along with the rest of that particular collection.
See Jane’s site for details of those, but if you just want a mug you can pick one up for £12 at the Jane Foster Shop.
I have a mug and planter from Jane and they are so gorgeous! They make me feel happy every time I see them. So beautiful…
