A recycling of old records rather than playable ones I’d guess. Regardless of that, the Vibyl bespoke handmade vinyl side tables are rather nice.
At least, they are if you have a thing about vinyl. A lot of people do, which is why the vinyl revival is currently in full swing.
As I said, I presume this is a case of recycling vinyl that has seen better days, with the maker coating the records in lacquer to give a durable, waterproof finish that’s ideal for the purpose.
As for the tables, they are a typical midcentury modern design with long, tapered legs in solid oak, finished with contrasting white rubber feet. Ideal for using in your home as functional storage, but also a great talking point and a design feature too. This is a side table that will get noticed in your home.
As for the records used, I presume they are random, but the maker does offer a bespoke service if you have a favourite piece of vinyl that has seen better days in terms of playing. Instructions for creating a bespoke design are on the maker’s website. If you haven’t a spare copy, the maker can source you a copy too. But that will be at cost.
But if you just want the basic handmade table, that’s available for £95. Which seems pretty reasonable to me,
