This is an interesting one. The Adidas Gazelle trainers bowling shoe edition. Although they aren’t described as such.
Creating a bowling shoe isn’t new for Adidas. You might recall the Adidas x Jeremy Scott bowling shoes from a while back, which do command good money on eBay. People love a bowling shoe and as such, this style might well appeal.
As I said, this isn’t officially described as a bowling shoe, but you can see the inspiration here. The colours try to imitate the kind of footwear you might wear down the local bowling alley.
In addition to that, the more common suede upper has been replaced with what’s described as a ‘premium’ leather finish. On top of that are the serrated 3-Stripes in red and blue, as well as some suede on the toe box and heel in blue, a later of blue leather aroid the laces and the gold branding and rubber sole typical of a Gazelle.
Yes, you might find that a bit much. If you do, there are plenty of Gazelles out there in plain finishes. Pretty much any colour you could wish for. But if you like these, jump in quick as these are unlikely to be around for long.
If the colours here work for you, head over to Size? where a pair retails for £90.
