Looking for a talking point for your home? You might want to have a look at the vintage-style VW Camper Van home bar range, available in a variety of sizes.
Yes, another take on the VW bar and while this one isn’t cheap, it is cheaper than the last one I featured.
If you missed it, that was the Volkswagen T1 Bus home bar. It looks amazing and has authenticity galore (right down to the working lights), but the downside is the price at just over £4,000. I know, pretty hefty.
John Lewis does a VW-inspired bar for £375 but it isn’t quite as VW as I would like. Although it is quite a nice retro design for your home or garden. Sitting in-between those two designs is this range.
When I say range that’s pretty generous as the designs are very similar in terms of style. The difference is the size and the colour of each one. Basically, the bigger you get, the more money you are looking at laying out. I don’t think the colour matters one way or another.
As for that look…well, if you are a fan of classic Volkswagen vans, then you’ll love it. The split colour, the logo and the lights. Not that the lights are functioning on all models. Do check the descriptions to double-check on that front.
The look is the selling point for me, but you also get some useful bar storage behind that retro frontage as well. Basically, if you need a fully-stocked bar unit with some vintage appeal, then all of these designs are worthy of some investigation. As long as you love that VW frontage.
If you do, then you’ll want to talk price. That varies depending on the design that has caught my eye, but prices start at £795.
