Upcycling is really growing on me. Especially when the end result is something like this Urban Renewal 1950s TV cocktail cabinet.
There is some really talented upcycling taking place right now. I’m a huge fan of the work of Elizabeth Dot Design and when it comes to cocktail bars, you really don’t need to look further than the Ella Lucas Designs for some showstopping pieces.
Or have a look at this one. And it might only be a ‘one’. Urban Renewal is a brand that sells its designs via Urban Outfitters. And those designs tend to be interesting vintage furnishings or like in this case, something repurposed or upcycled.
If it is an upcycled design, it might be a one-off. In which case, you might want to jump in before someone else does. After all, this will certainly ‘wow’ your guests this festive season.
Using a 1950s vintage TV, Urban Renewal has created a space to display vintage drinks bottles, cocktail glasses and your very best drinks shaker. All with some added retro style.
Love the colours of the casing, as well as the controls and LED lighting to the interior for a battery-powered, colour-changing finish. It’s a stunner.
Want it in your home? It doesn’t come cheap at £695, but this is something that will have friends and neighbours talking for months.
How much does it cost and how could I purchase this?
