I love everything the company does, but the newly-launched Vintage MLB satin windbreakers by Ebbets Field really stand out.
I love the designs from Ebbets Field for two reasons. Firstly, they dig out lost or at least, forgotten sports teams of the past, showcasing their logos and designs on newly-produced clothing with a vintage look or on a reissued vintage garment.
Secondly, that clothing is of the highest quality. It isn’t the cheapest out there, but it is built to last and made to get you noticed. The range can be as simple as a baseball cap or something a little more substantial – like the newly-launched satin windbreakers you see here.
The classic satin US sports jackets of the 1950s and 1960s inspire all of the jackets here. Each one is constructed from vintage cotton-backed satin and detailed with sewn felt or twill lettering, plus embroidered sleeve patches.
And they look amazing, especially if you are a fan of vintage Americana or ivy league fashion. Which one is the best? Hard to say, really. I’ve picked out a few of my favourites, but do have a browse of the full range of classic and lost teams on offer, as well as the choice of colours.
Don’t worry about the sizing either, as a full range is currently available. As for price, they retail for between $160 and $200.
