To be honest, there’s lots to appreciate on her website, but it seems a good time to mention these retro Christmas cards by Gail Myerscough.
There’s not a lot of really good retro cards around at the moment. I motioned the alternative music Christmas cards by Piper Gates Design recently, as well as the retro pop Christmas cards by Eight Bit North. But nothing much else has caught my eye.
So these are well worth a look. And as it’s also from an independent designer, you’ll be helping on that front, too.
You can buy the cards as a set of four or mix and match if some appeal more than others. Those four designs are Deck The Halls, Let It Snow, Baubles and Gift Tree, with each one black inside so you can add in your own message and printed on a matt card for a more of a vintage feel
Each one is A6, printed on 350gsm card, and a pack of four sells for £8. Note that there is wrapping paper matching each design, too, selling for £8 for four sheets. And as I said, lots of other retro designs in the online shop of this kind of thing appeals as much to you as it does to me. Everything from prints to cushions and turntable mats.
