Know someone who rides a bike and loves footie? One of these classic football-themed cycling shirts might be the perfect gift.

It’s a good idea, too. Retro cycling shirts are all the rage, but there’s room for something a little different than reworking old cycling teams from the 1950s and 1960s. How about old football shirts? Or retro ones, at the very least.

The Football Cycling Club is the maker behind this concept, mixing a classic cycling silhouette and the functionality that is required with some notable vintage football shirt designs. It started with a classic England shirt from the 1980s and has gradually worked its way through various other big-name clubs.

Yes, the big names. Don’t go expecting to find Stockport County or Leyton Orient here. The model, as it stands, is to focus on classic designs from the ‘big boys’ of British football. But if you happen to be a supporter of the likes of Arsenal, Celtic, Chelsea, Everton, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester United, Newcastle, Spurs, Villa or West Ham, you are in luck. Especially if you have a bike. However, you could probably get away with it as casual wear, too, as long as you have a bit of a bike physique. Oh yes, England home and away are also still in the range.

The shirts are in sizes small through to 2XL, and each one is made of a lightweight material and ‘Moisture Wicking Technology’ and detailed with three rear pockets, a full-length zip and a silicone banded waist.

£42 is the price, and although more geared (see what I did there) to summer weather, they would be great gift ideas, too.
